This Portuguese estate is now a small-scale and charming holiday park with four comfortable, beautifully spacious holiday homes, a charming nature campsite, Rental accommodations & fully furnished family tents, and a beautifully landscaped ecological swimming pool for shared use by our guests.
Dream away by the babbling brook
Relax in central Portugal. Our quinta is located 325 meters above sea level, just outside the village of Covas near Oliveira do Hospital in the Beira Alta region (Central Portugal).
The property covers approximately fourteen hectares and is nestled in a secluded, small valley with a beautiful terraced landscape. The atmosphere is rural, diverse, and green, with many fruit trees, olives, and grape vines. A small river with several rock formations and waterfalls runs through the property. It’s perfect for relaxing and a fantastic playground for children.

Retiro means “place of retreat” in Portuguese. And that’s exactly what we want to offer our guests: a beautiful spot far away from the hustle and bustle, where you can enjoy the peace, sunshine, and all the beauty this authentic region has to offer.
