Important! Your navigation software (especially Google Maps) can take you into narrow streets or slopes in this region where you do not want to be with your camper or caravan.
Therefore, set your navigation software to ‘caravan-camper-truck-bus’ or whatever is possible that matches your situation.
As an extra waypoint, include: ‘Venda da Esperança’ as extra waypoint in your navigation. You will enter the area where our park is located via the N17. This is a beautiful but above all safe route for Campers and/or Caravans. In ‘Venda da Esperança’ your software will guide you to our park via the CM1308; again a safe route of about 4 km. The last few hundred meters follow the signs to Quinta do Retiro ParCampismo. Please use our intercom system at reception, even if you just can’t figure it out yourself. 🙂 Campers and cars with caravans can be parked on the parking.

Arriving by Air?
The nearest International Airport to Quinta do Retiro is Porto and an alternative is Lisbon. British Airways fly from Heathrow and Gatwick. TAP (Air Portugal) flies out of Heathrow and Manchester. Ryanair and Easyjet have services from Stansted, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool and Dublin, Eindhoven to Porto. Portugalia also operates scheduled flights to Portugal from within Europe. Opodo (online bookings) is worth checking out for prices. We advise you bring a (rental)car for easy transportation in this area.
